Lady Gaga first to reach 1 Billion Online views

March 25th, 2010

Lady GagaAnother milestone in internet history, Lady Gaga is the first ever artist to reach over a billion views.

According to video analytics company Visible Measures, Lady Gaga’s videos have been viewed online more than a billion times. The numbers were accumulated from online video sites like YouTube and Vimeo, and the totals are as follows: Just Dance (272,941,674), Poker Face (374,606,128), and Bad Romance (360,020,327). Close contenders are The Twilight Saga with 980 million views and Soulja Boy with 860 million views are both close to the 1 Billion mark as well.

I’m not really a fan of her music videos, but this isn’t a surprise for me either considering her out of the ordinary Music videos.

Leadtek’s GTX 480 and 470 looks awesome

March 25th, 2010

With the hype of NVIDIA’s Fermi card retail release is closing by, Third Party Graphics card manufacturers like Leadtek is showing off their tweaked designs for both the GTX 480 and 470. I’m not really a fan of huge dual slot coolers but these cards from Leadtek are beautiful looking cards. I liked the GTX 470 much better with its Gold Highlights, though plus points for the heatpipes in the GTX 480 cooler.

There are rumor’s that the retail release date has been push back to April 6th, 2010 though I doubt the delay considering the cards are all ready for the March 26 release date. All we need now is the benchmark to prove that this card will truly “mark a milestone in the history of gaming” as NVIDIA boldy stated.

March 21st, 2010

As if Beta testers weren’t lucky enough to get invited for an Multiplayer Beta account for Starcraft II, Blizzard is letting them invite their “Friends” for another Beta account via their Invite a Friend program. According to Kotaku, Blizzard is sending out e-mails with extra StarCraft II beta keys to share with a friend. The one-time use invite may be part of Blizzard’s efforts to further test the new Battle.net “Real ID” feature, as the invites encourage beta testers and friends of beta testers to buddy up.

If you are one of the lucky guys who have a Beta Account and you told you’re gamer friends that you got one, they will be begging you for that invite after they knew about this. Some Beta account holders will surely take advantage of this and probably sell one of their keys online via Ebay for some cash. BTW, Lucky Beta account gamers, I can be your friend :D
