Almost all Facebook friends that I have has a Friendster account before and even now, there are still loyal users of Friendster that checks their accounts every now and then. Too bad for Friendster, some of its users switched to MySpace and with the recent success of Facebook, almost everyone switched to the Social Networking giant and Friendster was long forgotten by everyone. Not even its last makeover did any good with a new look and new contents like games and music.
According to Yahoo News, Friendster will undergo a major reformat in a few weeks. According to Friendster’s CEO Ganesh Bangah, “it will be the place where people can meet new friends and play games and enjoy music with them.” Though user’s will still keep their account, all other user content like Photo’s, comments and testimonials will be removed. If you still value you’re Photos, comments and testimonials there, now is the time to back em up! You have till May 31, 2011 till it gets deleted forever!
